Matthew 4: 1-25 – Follow Jesus Alone. The four disciples of Jesus were already familiar with Him the day that they were called. They believed that He was the Messiah and were His followers to some extent. It was here, though, they totally left their nets and boats. They left their old lives completely trusting in the call of Jesus.
How are we doing with this? Have we heard the call? Have we let the old life behind to follow Jesus?
Are we still carrying our nets?
