Noah Walked in Fear of God
Fear of God is just as important for us as believers as it is for the unsaved. This might be a controversial statement as we know God loves His children and will not cast us off. Yet, the truth is no matter how much We are made in God’s image, we are not God.
We are like God in some ways. God is not like us though. He is perfectly, blindingly holy. He is so immensely bigger and better than we can ever imagine. His purity should leave us in awe and reverence. This is type of fear we always should have for God. Not wanting to run away but awareness that we are in the presence of the Most High God.
It is this type of reverence that leads us to holiness in our lives. It allowed Noah to walk in holiness in a time when the rest of the world was continually evil.
